Bellegrove Pharmacy works seamlessly with hospice providers making sure the correct medication is delivered to the correct patient in a timely manner. We currently work with two hospice providers in the greater Seattle area. We have learned the importance of delivering the needed medication(s) to your patient(s) no matter their location in a time sensitive manner.

Bellegrove works with the hospice services to provide medication to patients at home, in an adult family home or living in a long term care facility. Since Medicare is the primary payee, we know the cost of providing these services is an important issue hospice providers must consider when choosing a pharmacy.
We have developed several key features to help control the costs associated with providing the timely delivery of medication to your patients. Several of these cost controlling elements involve:
  • Delivery of urgent medication vs. next day mail for less urgent requests.
  • Pharmacists available and trained in providing cheaper medication alternatives
  • Pharmacist’s available for consulting 24/7 at no added expense. (Fees may apply when called in to prepare medication for dispensing during off hours).
  • We provide “bubble pack” or “multi-pack” dispensing and MARS for those facilities that request them.
Besides providing on-call pharmacists 24/7, our courier is available to deliver urgently needed medication anywhere with the greater Seattle/Eastside areas. We work closely with our courier and can provide you with needed information on when the medication will be delivered. We can also provide information about those deliveries, when the delivery occurred and who signed for the package.
